Overview

We want every purchase to feel fair and respectful. This policy explains how refunds and cancellations work for everlit paid plans.

One-time purchases (Keep It Lit & Memorial Page Plus)

Keep It Lit ($9) and Memorial Page Plus ($19) are one-time payments that permanently unlock features on a specific memorial page.

  • Because digital features are activated immediately after payment, one-time purchases are generally non-refundable once the upgrade has been applied to your memorial page.
  • If you were charged in error (duplicate charge, wrong memorial page, or technical failure), contact us within 14 days and we will review your request.
  • If a charge was made without your authorization, contact us immediately and we will work with Stripe to investigate.

Lightkeeper Monthly subscription

Lightkeeper Monthly ($4.99/month) automatically lights a new candle on your memorial page each month. It is a recurring subscription billed through Stripe.

  • You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will not be charged again.
  • To cancel, open the Stripe Customer Billing Portal from your memorial management page, or contact us for help.
  • Cancelling your subscription does not delete your memorial page. The page stays online; only the monthly auto-lighting feature stops.
  • We do not offer partial refunds for unused days within a billing period after a renewal has processed.

Failed payments

If a subscription payment fails, Stripe will retry according to its settings. Your memorial page is never deleted because of a failed payment. Subscription benefits may pause until payment succeeds or the subscription is cancelled.

How to request a refund review

Email us at info@everlit.space with your memorial page link, the email used at checkout, and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond within 3 business days.
