everlit ("we", "us") operates the digital remembrance service at everlit.space. For privacy-related questions, contact us at info@everlit.space.

We collect only what is needed to run the service:

• Memorial page data: first and last name of the person being remembered (to create and display the candle page). No account or signup is required to create a free candle.
• Email address: collected only when you choose a paid plan or request a management link. Used for receipts, management access, and service-related messages.
• Guestbook messages: text submitted by visitors on Plus pages, subject to moderation.
• Technical data: hashed IP addresses for rate limiting and abuse prevention, and standard server logs.

We do not require dates of birth, death certificates, government IDs, or other sensitive personal documents.

All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see, store, or process your full card number on our servers. Stripe handles payment data under its own Privacy Policy.

• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send transactional emails (receipts, management links)
• Prevent abuse, spam, and fraudulent pages
• Respond to support requests and content reports

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in when managing a memorial page or admin area. These cookies are required for the service to function and are not used for advertising.

We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics trackers on memorial pages. If this changes, we will update this policy.

Memorial pages remain online unless removed by the page owner or by us for policy violations. Payment records are retained as required for accounting and dispute resolution. Hashed IP data used for rate limiting is retained for a limited period.

You may request deletion of a memorial page or removal of your email from our records by contacting us. Page owners can manage visibility settings from their management link. We will respond to deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe.
